Are you a leader? Do you know who a leader truly is? Can you identify a leader by the right attributes? Well, that's what this article is going to look at - 3 golden attributes of a leader.
Who is a leader? Simply put, a leader is one who is in the forefront, ahead of others, in a system. He represents their interest and they look up to him as their hero. Some, however, believe that leaders are born and not made. I hold the view, on the contrary, that anybody can be a leader (a good one at that) in this dispensation, with the right information and training. It's only a matter of choice. Below are 3 golden attributes you can employ to become a true leader:
1. True leaders show the way: This is perhaps the "leader indicator" in individuals. True leaders "show" the way to others. They show others the "how-tos" of success - how to do this and how to make that to achieve success in different areas of life. This is because they often have the "know-edge" over others.
2. True leaders lead the way: In addition to "showing" the way, true leaders "lead" the way. They don't just show you the "how-tos", they go the extra mile and take all the risk necessary to lead you on the road to success. In other words, they live sacrificially. The true leader's motto is: "We lead the way so that others may follow."
3. True leaders establish their followers in the way: This simply means that true leaders establish a structure or pathway that their followers can follow to succeed on their own (even in the absence of the leader). This is because a leader's true essence is only justified by successful successors.
Having read these 3 golden attributes you can employ to become a true leader, you have a choice to either follow them and be one or ignore them. It's sincerely up to you! Are you already a leader? Then, stay up as a true, worthy leader!
