“The place of motivation is the place of activation and the place of inspiration is the place of aspiration. It's compulsory! You will always be activated when you are motivated; and aspire when you are inspired”

2017: YOUR YEAR OF UNIQUE EXEMPTION (FROM “EVERY HEAT” OF YEAR 2017) – Psalm 1:1-3!
WELCOME!
Feature Article
It is no longer news to say that we live in a very challenging world. Even the Bible, God's WORD, confirms it. Whether we admit it or not, we get beaten at one time or the other by the storms of life - the regrets of yesterday's failures and the pains that come with them, the fear of the unknown bearing with it the challenge of the future.

THE HIDDEN TREASURES OF LIFE: 2 SIMPLE BUT SIGNIFICANT WAYS TO LOCATE THEM

From ancient Greece comes the story of a rich farmer who on his deathbed said to his sons, “My treasure is buried in my fields. If you would be rich, dig for it.” At the old man’s death, the two sons, presuming that their father had hidden his money in an ironbound chest somewhere on his farm, set out eagerly to search for it. Equipped with spades and mattocks, they dug with great enthusiasm and perseverance, but seemingly without success. Carefully they turned over the soil in every field, digging to a depth no plough had ever reached but no sign of a treasure chest did they discover. This they continued to do until one spring season, the search was abandoned in order that the land might be sown with corn. Then came summer and harvest. And what a harvest! The like that had never been seen before. In digging the land so thoroughly, the boys had won the riches they had sought. Their wise old father’s plan had succeeded!
You too have inherited a precious heirloom that has come down to you through many generations. It, too, is buried. Not in a field, but in a book. And He who bequeathed it to you says, “If you would be rich in all the best and most beautiful things life has to offer, search This Book. Dig into it with all the spiritual tools at your command.
First, what is a treasure? A treasure is a precious material that we admire and hold in high esteem. It is often something valuable and of wealth (usually in the form of jewels and precious objects) which we tend to hoard.
You need to understand that the Word of God is a treasure itself - or better put, “a box of treasures.” The ways to locate the treasures in this material does not differ in any way from the ways to locate treasures in real life situations, as seen in the story above. Outlined below, therefore, are 2 simple but significant ways (from the story above) to locate the hidden treasures of life in God’s Word – the Bible:
1. Do a diligent search on it: Read it! Study it! Meditate upon it! Pray over it! Within it, you will find the richest of treasures. The Bible is, in some respects, much like other books because from its appearance, you wouldn’t suspect that it can be any valuable. But open it, begin to search, and the first glint of treasure will soon be seen. Indeed, all who turn its pages with earnest, reverent, loving hands will reap a harvest of spiritual blessings - peace, strength, courage, wisdom, inspiration and the very help for which you have longed but thought impossible to attain.
2. Do a continual search on it: Here is a treasure worth digging for. And the more you dig, the more you will find. Every turn of the spade will reveal fresh gems. You will begin to understand the mysteries of life and death, as you continue to search its content. You will find the reason for good and evil. You will glimpse the master plan that links the past, the present, and the future. You will see the meaning of history and glimpse events as yet in the womb of time. Above all, you will discover how earth is linked with heaven by ties that can never be broken. Just continue your search and never give up. Never quit!
The two steps given above are really simple but very significant too. They are the steps applied in the story above. The treasure from this book, the Bible, is available to all! No one is debarred from searching for it on the grounds of caste, color, or creed. This Book will speak to anybody, regardless of his religion, his nationality, the nature of his work, or the size of his bank account. It will speak to you. No matter what your past may have been, or your present state of mind, or your physical disabilities, it has a message for you today. To the old or young, high or low, rich or poor, privileged or underprivileged, it will bring the same strong encouragement, the same helpful counsel and the same rich enlightenment to all who would dare to search it. What a treasure this Book contains and what a pity to have it in your home and not look for it! To be poor when you could be rich! To be weak when you could be strong! To be sad and dejected when you could be radiant with joy! Therefore, read, study, meditate and act on the instructions of this Book and you’ll truly discover the hidden treasures of life. I, therefore, charge you: Discover God’s hidden treasures from His Word!
