“The place of motivation is the place of activation and the place of inspiration is the place of aspiration. It's compulsory! You will always be activated when you are motivated; and aspire when you are inspired”

2017: YOUR YEAR OF UNIQUE EXEMPTION (FROM “EVERY HEAT” OF YEAR 2017) – Psalm 1:1-3!
WELCOME!
Feature Article
It is no longer news to say that we live in a very challenging world. Even the Bible, God's WORD, confirms it. Whether we admit it or not, we get beaten at one time or the other by the storms of life - the regrets of yesterday's failures and the pains that come with them, the fear of the unknown bearing with it the challenge of the future.

8 BIBLICAL PIECES OF ADVICE ON THE SUBJECT OF LIFE MEDITATION (PART 1)

“What is the subject of your life meditation?” In other words, what do you spend most of your time thinking about or reflecting on in life? Most times, we are compelled to think or reflect on negative things because (i) of the circumstances we go through or find ourselves in life (ii) the fact that we cannot predict the future and (iii) the things we hear, read or listen to regularly.
Simply put, meditation is the emptying of the mind of thoughts, or the concentration of the mind on one thing in order to aid mental or spiritual development, contemplation, or relaxation.
Your words, dreams and thoughts all have power to create varying conditions in your life. What you speak about, you can bring about. If you keep saying you can’t stand your body, your body can become sick. If you keep saying you can’t stand your car, your car could be stolen. If you keep saying you are always broke, you will always be broke.
Outlined below are 4 (out of 8) biblical pieces of advice on the subject of life meditation, from Philippians 4:8. This is the first part of this article. The other part outlines the remaining points. As a result, endeavour to read the second and concluding part so that you can fully understand the message of this article. Philippians 4:8 encourages us to “think on…
1. Whatsoever is true: As far as I’m concerned, truth comes from only ONE source – The Word of God. Look around and you will understand what I mean. Everything that surrounds us appearing as truth, are mere facts of life. The truth is in God’s Word. Why? Because God’s Word is truth in itself (John 17:17). When we believe the truth in God’s Word, it ignites faith in us so much that certain facts of life dissolve before our very eyes for truth to prevail. When this happens, we say there’s “a miracle.” For instance, have you ever heard of a woman without womb conceiving? Or, how do you explain a man (Joseph) who slept the night before as a prisoner only to wake up the next morning as the next in command to the king. These are examples of miracles that are born out of THE TRUTH – God’s Word!
2. Whatsoever is honest: The world we live in today is full of odd and unpleasant reports. Almost everywhere you turn, you get to hear one bad news or the other. Therefore, the Bible advises that you should only pay attention to whatsoever is “honest”. You don’t have to go with every flow of information that passes around you. Be selective!
3. Whatsoever is just: This advice is basically with regards to foul talks and discussions. There are certain slang, talks and discussions that don’t add value both to you and to your destiny. Refuse to pay attention to them! It’s up to you to discern this and make your choice.
4. Whatsoever is pure: Don’t spend your time talking and discussing on issues that don’t “edify” or add value to you or your desired goals. It might be very costly on the long run because it will have a negative effect on your life meditation. Therefore, avoid “filthy, dirty or immoral talks”, especially the type initiated in a group.
The points outlined above are only 4 out of the 8 biblical pieces of advice that this article aims to discuss. The other points are discussed in the second and concluding part. As you endeavour to read the concluding part of this write-up, therefore, I see you putting to work in your life, these 8 biblical advices on the subject of life meditation. You will surely move to your next level in life! Take the responsibility to always think right!
