Fate is defined as a power, force or principle that is believed to predetermine events or that controls what happens in people's lives (oftentimes, it relates to the unpleasant events of life).
That means that somewhere in our subconscious, we all believe that there is a power or force that controls what happens in our lives or to us. The only difference is that most times, we attribute this power to negative events. The big question then is: Which power or force really controls events in our lives - fate or faith?

On the contrary, faith is defined as a strong feeling of trust or confidence in someone (e.g God) or something. It is the belief in, devotion to, or trust in somebody or something, especially without any logical proof. In other words, it expresses a similar idea as above: we all believe, trust or have confidence in a power or force that seems to control what happens in our lives or to us. This, in simple terms, is faith. Going by this fact above, I believe everyone believes in something but not the same thing. Some believe in fate as the power or force that controls the universe. Others believe in God as that power that rules the affairs of men on earth.
Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us". From this scripture, I strongly believe that we attract events in and around our lives - whether good or bad, according to the power or force that works in us, whether it is the power of fate or faith. My question to you is this: which power works in you? I encourage you to allow the power of faith in God work in you. This is the power of positivity. Allowing the power of "fate" to dominate you is allowing the power of negativity to rule your life. I guarantee you, believing in the power of faith in God will take you farther in life than believing in the force of fate! So, my advice to you is this: Live by “faith” in God and not by “fate” in circumstances!
